My Book/Movie Poster-To All The Boys I've Loved Before! P.S I Still Love You!

Hi bloggers, welcome back to my blog. I have just finished my book/movie poster. I decided to do one of my favourite books/movie To All The Boys I've Loved Before! P.S I Still Love You. I created this on canva and made it as a poster. Do you like the colour theme I have used? Can you see the theme I was going for? I love the detail of the four little hearts on the side, I think it adds a little bit of pop to the poster. Have you seen the movie, To All The Boys I've Loved Before! P.S I Still Love You? Or read the book?

My Covid-19 Poster!

Hi bloggers, welcome back to my blog. One of the tasks we had this week is to create a covid-19 poster. I created mine on canva, canva is a great website where you can create lots of different things like posters, book covers, instagram stories, Instagram posts, flyers, presentations, cards, photo collages, invitations, brochures, and so much more. I love creating posters, invitations, and book covers the most. My poster I think is pretty eye catching, I also think that the colours that I used work well together and match the writing. Do you like how I added a little image at the bottom? Make sure that you wash your hands really well and sanitize your hands regularly to keep your hygiene clean. I will also be posting a poster about my one of my favorite books or movie soon so keep a close eye on my blog. Can you guess what it is?

My Friday Task! (Koru Designs)

Hi bloggers, welcome back to my blog. Today's Friday task is to do our koru art. Over the past week we have been creating koru art, first we had to draw our design with a pencil, then we had to go over it with a vivid. Once we did that we had to colour it with pastels and make it dark on the edges and slowly fade lighter towards the center of our korus. The last step is to dye our art, and then we are done. Today I finished colouring my art with pastels and then I dyed it with black dye. I had to use three coats of dye so that it was dark enough. Whilst I was waiting for my dye to dry I had to sketch out three designs of a koru necklace and then practice molding it with playdough. My final design is the heart, these took a while because it was actually really hard to get it to look nice and mould it properly. The final design I chose is the heart koru, my design symbolises love, my family together. The two spirals at the top of my heart represent being together as a family. Then we had to write what our necklace symbolises and what the meaning is to us. This was an overall fun and challenging task and took up most of my Friday. Have you created a koru design before? Or a koru design necklace?

World Hunger!

Hi bloggers, welcome back to my blog. This terms inquiry focus is on world issues. I decided to do world hunger, as I think that this is one of the many issues we have today right now. Did you know that every second someone dies, and every 12 seconds a child dies. This is a huge issue and needs to be solved. Please take some time to read through my slides, there is so much information on them about world hunger and there is even a video on each slide. Also on the second slide you will find a word art filled with some of the worlds issues currently. Have you donated any food recently? They have food bins at the supermarkets, so next time you go think about how you would be helping someone out there by giving them a nice meal or snack.

3D Cube Shapes!

Hi bloggers, welcome back to my blog for week 7. I hope you have all been doing well and enjoying school. This weeks learning tasks for maths have been to draw lots of 3D shape and do worksheets on lines of symmetry. I like drawing 3D cubes and making shapes with them, I did the same drawing but one a draft and one a coloured one. As you can see I used 20 cubes to complete this shape. As I said before I have been also doing work on lines of symmetry, I find symmetry very easy, but some of them were harder. I hope you all have a great rest of your week. What have you been up to in maths? Have you done any work on symmetry or cube shapes?

What Have I Been Up To This Week?

Hi bloggers, welcome back to my blog. This week was the first week out of lock down and we are back at school now. I have had a very busy week and my body is still adjusting to the early wake ups. What have you been up to at school or work? Are you still adjusting to the weekly timetable?

This week for numeracy I have been doing lots of Matific and 3D shapes on isometric paper. Matific is so much fun and have tasks that really get you engaged. I love drawing on isometric paper, because I love drawing 3D squares arranged in different places. I found it quite easy, but fun.

For literacy this week I have been working on my mini essays we have to write three theme, three symbols, three characters, and publish them on a website. I have completed all of my themes and am now working on my symbols. I enjoy literacy and it is my favorite subject. At the moment we are doing The Wizard Of Oz. We are creating websites to present our texas analysis of Wizard Of Oz. I have not finished yet, so I will just add an image of the characters in The Wizard Of Oz.

This week I have also been working on a letter about the Covid-19 for the future generation letter. I have added my letter down below if you would like to see it. This was so that the future generations could know what has been going on lately and might even know the person who wrote it. We have also done a poster about our experience in lockdown. I found this fun and something different to do. Can you notice a bit of a colour theme?

I am looking forward to week 7, see you then!

My Week Tasks!

Hi blogger, welcome back to my blog. I have been up to so much this week. We are back at school on Monday, hooray.

This week for numeracy I completed lots of different activities Including some Khan Academy tasks, a treasure map, a 3D shape out of paper, and a plan, front, side, of some drawers. I have completed everything under week 5.

For literacy this week I have been completing lots of slides on The Wizard Of Oz. The tasks over the past few weeks for literacy have been so much fun. This week I did slide 18-22, The Wizard Of Oz movie was so great, It is so different from the book. I highly suggest watching the movie and reading the book if you haven't done so already.

Today's home learning Friday fun tasks are to complete one of the tech tasks and a friday fun task. For tech I made sushi, it was so good. I make some for the whole family and used a variety of different fillings. For Friday fun tasks I did living on the back of an animal. I don't think that it is possible to live on the back of an animal as they move to much. Although it would be pretty cool to live on the back of an animal, then you wouldn't have to have a car. I chose to have my house on the back of a Turtle as Turtles are my favorite animals. They can travel in all the tropical waters like Hawaii and Bali. What animal would you chose to live on if you had to chose? I would live with my whole family as my house is very big. Who would you live with?

I am looking forward to going back to school next week. Stay safe!

Friday Fun Task!

Hi bloggers, welcome back to my blog. Today's home learning task for Friday fun tasks is to create your very own food truck. I decided to do an ice cream truck, called tasty gelato. I designed a food truck, an apron, a menu, and a logo. This was so much fun to create and it took a while. I love how these turned out, next time I would be wise with the colours I choose because as you can see the peach mixed a little bit with the colours. Other than that I think that they are great. I created a menu with 4 different ice creams and a ice cream milkshake. Have you designed a food truck? If so what does it sell?

Fabric Fun!

Hi bloggers, welcome back to my blog. Today's friday fun task for tech is to create an outcome with fabric. I decided to make a filled heart with a ribbon to attach to my puppy's cage. It looks really pretty hanging from to top of her cage. Our tech teachers got us to do a home learning technology task and I chose to do fabric. So this is what I made. Have you made anything out of fabric recently? If so what did you make? What have you been doing to keep yourself busy lately?
